Summer School Counts Bill

Have you ever watched the progress of a bill? Here's our Summer School Counts bill. You can watch to see who chooses to co-sponsor in the State Assembly and the State Senate. We are excited to see who our first Republican will be! Watch for, "xyzRepublican has been added as a co-sponsor".

(If you do not see your Representative or Senator on this list, you can contact them by email and suggest it! It's been a busy year so far-- maybe they have been focused elsewhere and would love a note to point them to this bill! Let's make this bipartisan!)

Door to Door Vaccination Effort

President Biden announced that he will be working with community leaders to go door to door in order to get more Americans vaccinated. On Wednesday, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, and other local leaders announced Milwaukee’s participation in this effort in a press conference, which you can view HERE.

Independence Day Parade

It was great to see so many faces in the Wauwatosa Independence Day parade! Thanks to everyone for coming out, to our first responders and medical professionals for caring for our communities through this extra-long holiday weekend, parade and community events organizers, and to everyone who works behind the scenes.
