COVID-19 Update
Dear Neighbor,
In order to support your families being able to take a deep breath, turn away from constant news updates, and create a new temporary normal, my office will continue sending a near-daily update on the COVID-19 public health emergency and posting to our website and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
It is my hope that one reliable update each day will allow you to take a deep breath, oversee all that is happening in your own life and home, and have a reliable source of news you can count on to be up to date and accurate. As always, previous updates are on our website and linked beneath the graphic below.
My greatest concerns right now are your lives and livelihoods. We are working hard to keep you and your loved ones safe, and to fight for our small businesses in an unprecedented crisis.
In solidarity,
Rep. Robyn Vining

Wisconsin Surpasses 3,000 COVID-19 Deaths
Over the weekend, the state of Wisconsin reported that there have now been a total of over 3,000 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, 104 more deaths were reported - a new daily record.
This is devastating news - my thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those who have passed.
We need to do our part to stop the spread of this virus - stay home as much as possible, wear a mask, maintain physical distancing.
"This is Real" - Physician Plea to Community
Physician leaders from the Milwaukee area health systems, community health centers, and the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership created a compilation video for the community. Watch the full video HERE.
Recovered COVID-19 Patients Can Donate Plasma
Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin is urging people who have testing positive for COVID-19 to consider donating COVID convalescent plasma (CCP) to help other COVID-19 patients.
The donation process is similar to donating blood and can be done through the Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin. Safety precautions are in place to protect the health of donors including social distancing and mandatory masks.
With COVID case numbers soaring and hospitalizations rising, there’s been unprecedented levels of demand for COVID convalescent plasma. Visit www.Versiti.org/covid19plasma for more information.
Home for the Holidays
Wishing everyone a safe holiday weekend. My family is staying home and celebrating virtually this year, so we can still spend time with family while making sure everyone stays healthy.
