Forward Fridays
Hello!
Welcome to my latest e-update! Here are highlights from the past week as your State Representative.
As always, feel free to reach out to my office with any questions or concerns you have.
Forward together!
Legislative Democrats Fall Agenda
I came into office with the slogan "Forward Together", and I’m thrilled to see it become the title of the Wisconsin Assembly and Senate Democrats’ fall agenda.
Our agenda is outlined into these categories: affordable health care, quality schools, clean water, financial security, hometown success, justice reform, safe communities, and democracy for all

First Responder of the Year - Officer Tracy Burbach
I had the distinct honor today of presenting our district’s 2019 First Responder Award to Wauwatosa Police Officer Tracy Burbach, who serves the children and families of Longfellow Middle School and Roosevelt Elementary in Wauwatosa. She was nominated by Longfellow Principal Seth Larson.

ADA Accommodations in State Assembly
Yesterday in the State Assembly, Republicans exploited the ADA requests of State Representative Jimmy Anderson, and created the ability to override the Governor's veto in a way similar to what happened in North Carolina.
I am honored to serve with Rep. Anderson and appreciate the courage he showed yesterday, and everyday, the kind of courage America needs right now.
