Representative Priscilla A. Prado was elected to the vibrant and cultured 9th District of the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2024, serving the southside of Milwaukee and West Milwaukee. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Prado has been living on Milwaukee's southside since 2005. 

As devoted mother of four, Representative Prado is a distinguished small business entrepreneur. With over 22 years of expertise in accounting and financial management, Prado founded her own tax and bookkeeping business in 2017, Midwest Bookkeeping. Additionally, the Representative played a vital role in the economic development of her Latino community as the former Treasurer for the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce

Prado also serves as the Vice-Chair for the Business, Economic Development, and International Trade Committee with the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators (NHCSL).

A two-time heart attack and triple bypass survivor, Representative Prado’s tenacity drives her passion for advocacy. She is committed to shaping policies that foster financial stability, job creation, healthcare access, and resources for working families. Honored to serve Wisconsin's District 9, her life’s work reflects this dedication to her community, resilience in the face of personal health challenges, and a fervent commitment to the economic empowerment of her fellow citizens.
