Hiram Bowen

Home state: Massachusetts. Moved to Wisconsin in 1850 at the age of 34. Occupation: Editor. With Daniel Wilcox, Bowen purchased an interest in the Janesville Gazette in March of 1855. During his service as chief clerk, he lived in Janesville (Rock County).
