Bewley Encourages Families to Explore Health Options

Sen. Janet Bewley releases Public Service Announcement on ACA open enrollment

 

The enrollment period for 2018 health coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) opens today.   As of November 1st, Wisconsin residents and families can explore health care opportunities, renew their current plan or pick a new plan through the ACA’s Health Insurance Marketplace.  

Senator Janet Bewley (D-Delta) is encouraging Northern Wisconsin residents who are uninsured or in need of affordable coverage to visit healthcare.gov and learn more about their health coverage options.

More than 240,000 Wisconsinites enrolled for a health care coverage through the federal marketplace in 2017, marking an all-time high.  In addition, over 80% of all enrollees qualified for premium subsidies.
