"Hello, this is State Senator Mark Miller with this week's democratic radio address.
"The deer hunting season is upon us, a treasured time for many of us. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources' website, dnr.wi.gov, contains all the information you need to have a safe, legal and fun hunting experience.
"Anyone born on or after January 1, 1973 is required to take hunter safety before heading out to the woods. Adults and youth 10 or older who have not completed hunter safety are eligible to hunt through the Mentored Hunting Program. Reduced fees are available for youth and first time hunters.
"This year, deer registration is paperless. Hunters will be able to register their deer online, with their phones or electronically at an in-person registration station. Please visit the DNR website or call 608-266-2621 to answer all hunting related questions. That's 608-266-2621.
'"I wish you all a successful, and safe hunting season!"
