Welcome to my e-update!

My name is Brad Pfaff, and I am proud to represent you as State Senator for the 32nd District in the Wisconsin State Senate.

Our district includes La Crosse, Vernon, Crawford, and southern Monroe County.

In January, I took an oath at the State Capitol and made a promise to work hard for the people of Western Wisconsin. I fully intend to keep my promise and show up every day.

This newsletter helps me keep in touch with all of you and provides updates on what's happening around the district and in the State Capitol.
 
Around the District

The Warming Center helps homeless population in La Crosse

Our neighbors experiencing homelessness deserve dignity and respect. The Warming Center is a safe place for homeless adults to get out of the cold, wash their clothes, and shower.

Recently, I visited the Center to learn about how we can work together to help those in need.

Community comes together for Thanksgiving

This year, and every year, I am thankful for our caring friends and neighbors in western Wisconsin. Delicious community dinners around the district were back in person after a year away in 2020.

Small Business Saturday successful in Coulee Region

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and offer quality, unique products that feel like home.

I encourage as many people as possible to visit a small business and shop locally this holiday season.

Capitol Update

Christmas tree goes up at the Capitol

The Capitol Christmas tree is back in the rotunda! This year’s theme is “Hometown for the Holidays.” Governor Evers asked students to submit handmade ornaments showing off their local pride and what makes their community special.

State Supreme Court affirms gerrymandering maps

Wisconsinites have been perfectly clear: We want fair maps. I will always advocate for voting rights and equal representation.

Flu shot and COVID booster important this season

Local health officials are encouraging everyone to get a flu shot and a COVID-19 vaccine booster. As flu cases rise this season, it's important to keep ourselves and our communities healthy.

I encourage everyone to continue observing municipal safety guidelines for COVID-19. 

If you’re not sure what your local health officials are advising, you can call your county health department or visit their website.
