Legislative Democrats Roll Out Fall Priorities
Forward Together plan focuses on the most pressing issues facing Wisconsin

MADISON – Today, Legislative Democrats rolled out their fall priorities plan, Forward Together. As the legislature moves into the fall floor period, there are many issue areas Democrats will be focused on to improve the lives of everyday Wisconsinites. The plans were announced at press conferences across the state. Senator Smith (D-31) released the following statement in support of this plan:

"As elected officials, we have a duty to represent the interests of all Wisconsinites. After traveling throughout western Wisconsin and hearing from constituents, one thing is clear: the people’s priorities have not changed. Democrats remain committed to fighting for healthcare access and affordability, especially in rural communities; protecting our natural resources and supporting our family farms. As we move forward during this legislative session, we have the opportunity to collaborate on solutions to address the challenges Wisconsinites face. I’m hopeful the Republicans can put politics aside and work with Democrats to prioritize the will of the Wisconsin people."
