Senator Bradley Calls on University of Wisconsin to Explain Delayed Action, Condemns Unlawful Occupation

MADISON, Wisc. — In response to professional protestors’ occupation of the University of Wisconsin campus, Senator Julian Bradley released the following statement:

“Over the weekend, professional protestors arrived in Madison, ignored the law, and disturbed the campus community with their actions. This morning, after days of looking the other way, the University of Wisconsin finally stepped in to end the unlawful occupation. I hope the university will share why it took them so long to enforce the law,” said Senator Bradley.

“I will always support our God-given right to free speech, even when I disagree with what's being said. What I don’t support is petulant instigators breaking the law while the university looks the other way, favoring one group over another.”
