Weekly Radio Address: Senator Bradley: Wisconsin Republicans push back against DC inflation

September 2, 2021

MADISON, Wis. — State Senator Julian Bradley, R–Franklin, released the Weekly Radio Address on behalf of Wisconsin State Republicans on Thursday.

"Hi, this is Senator Julian Bradley from Franklin.

"As we get ready to celebrate this Christmas season, many Wisconsinites are unfortunately paying more for gas, groceries, and gifts due to inflation and supply chain disruptions.

"Wisconsin Republicans are doing everything we can to reduce the impacts of rising inflation caused by President Biden's excessive federal spending.

"We passed a $3 billion tax cut in our state budget earlier this year, which means $1,200 savings for the typical family.

"We're also encouraging a return to work for the long-term unemployed. Open jobs need to be filled to help small businesses and manufacturers catch up on orders and meet growing demand.

"And by blocking federal attempts to shut down Wisconsin natural gas pipelines, we're working to stop rising energy costs, especially winter heating bills.

"Republicans in Wisconsin are working overtime to stop overreach from DC to help your families. Wisconsinites are doing better, but our work isn't done.

"We'll continue fighting for pro-freedom, pro-growth policies to benefit all Wisconsin workers and families this holiday season."
