You may have heard about the ongoing negotiations regarding the Milwaukee Brewers ballpark. I want to provide a little background on the situation.

I’m very concerned about the recent lawsuit filed seeking to end School Choice in Wisconsin. If they are successful, the decision made by four justices in Madison would kick 55,000 students out of their current school and force as many as hundreds of schools to close overnight.

My commitment to free and fair elections has not wavered.

This week, a public hearing was held on my Constitutional Amendment that ensures only American citizens are allowed to vote in Wisconsin elections.

The 2024 Wisconsin Senate Scholar program offers a unique educational experience to high school juniors and seniors. One student is selected to represent each of the 33 Senate Districts across the state of Wisconsin. The elite program provides Wisconsin’s best and brightest with a front-row seat to the legislative process.

I’m excited to report that the “Know Your Healthcare Costs Act” received a public hearing yesterday. My Senate Co-Author, Mary Felzkowski, and I testified in support of this crucial legislation.

As students returned to class this week for another school year, you may have noticed that I’ve been highlighting the importance of School Choice in Wisconsin on my social media and public statements.

On Tuesday, my colleagues and I introduced $2.9 billion in tax relief for middle-class families and seniors in Wisconsin. As you’ve heard me say time and time again – surplus dollars should be returned to taxpayers, not used to expand state government!

Giving consumers the information they need to lower healthcare costs is a common sense reform that will save Wisconsin families real money.
