An official citation from the state legislature is a wonderful way to recognize an outstanding achievement. The legislature regularly issues citations honoring people who have become Eagle Scouts, received the Girl Scout Gold Award, retired after a long career, proudly served in the Armed Forces, and many other notable accomplishments. 

If my schedule permits, I make a point of attending events to which I am invited to present the citation in person. Please contact my office with the following information to arrange this process:

  • Exact Name of the person receiving the citation
  • Contact person and phone number where they can be reached
  • Event and date of event
  • Background information about the activities of this person. Be sure to include any community service or volunteer groups and/or public offices.

American flags and Wisconsin flags are available for purchase. Both flags are made of durable nylon and are approximately 3 fee by 5 feet in size. You may also choose to have the flag flown over the state capitol on behalf of someone and/or a special occasion. Flags flown over the capitol include a certificate of recognition.
