Romaine's Biography

I was born and raised right here in the 25th Senate District, where I attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Rice Lake and graduated from Rice Lake High School. During my senior year of High School, I ran and was elected to the Rice Lake City Council. After serving for a year on the council, I was elected Mayor of Rice Lake at just 19 years old.

I am also a proud alum of UW - Eau Claire - Barron County, where I took classes while serving out my term as Mayor. After two years, I attended UW-Eau Claire, but ultimately obtained my bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Leadership from UW-Green Bay. As soon as I graduated in May of 2014, I jumped back into public service and launched my bid for the 75th Assembly District, a position that I held for 6 years.

Although I have accomplished much in my short 32 years, I consider marrying "the farmer's daughter" my biggest accomplishment yet. My wife Racquel and I, along with our two sons, currently live just outside of Cameron. We look forward to raising our growing family right here in the heart of the 25th Senate Seat.
