Take a Holiday Tour of the Executive Residence

Each year, the Wisconsin Governor's Mansion is elegantly decorated for the Christmas season, and the public is able to enjoy the beauty of the Residence while taking in some holiday cheer. Mark your calendars for one of the open house dates, and if you come on a weekday, don't forget to stop by my office located at 319 South in the State Capitol! Here is the tour schedule for this year: 2016 Holiday Open House Schedule:
- Saturday, December 3 – 10:00 a.m. – Noon
- Wednesday, December 7 – Noon – 2:00 p.m.
- Thursday, December 8 – Noon – 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday, December 10 – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 14 – Noon – 2:00 p.m.
- Thursday, December 15 – Noon – 2:00 p.m.
The Executive Residence is located at 99 Cambridge Road on Madison’s northeast side in the Village of Maple Bluff. Learn more about the Wisconsin Executive Residence here. Driving directions can be found here. Tours are free of charge, and cameras are allowed. Parties of 20 or more are asked to make a reservation by calling (608) 246-5501. Parking is available directly outside the residence gates. The Executive Residence is handicapped accessible, and handicapped parking is available upon request at the time of arrival. Governor Scott Walker and First Lady Tonette Walker have partnered with Second Harvest Foodbank and the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s Big Bundle Up Campaign again to promote the season of giving this holiday. Non-perishable food items and warm weather items, including new or gently used mittens, hats, scarves, coats, sweaters, jackets, and snow pants are accepted at the Executive Residence before and after the tours. All items will be donated to those in need.
