More Jobs Coming to Southeastern Wisconsin
Two companies recently announced that they will be opening new facilities right here in the 21st Senate District. On January 10, New Glarus Brewing Co. announced it will buy all of its bottles from the Ardagh glass manufacturing plant in Burlington. The Ardagh plant is Wisconsin's only glass plant, and the decision means $6 million of business will be kept in Wisconsin. On January 16, InSinkErator announced it plans on moving its headquarters to a new $24 million, 85,000 square foot facility in Mount Pleasant. The company chose Mount Pleasant after considering other areas of the state, or even relocating to St. Louis. This recent news is part of a string of jobs announcements over the past few months, and it is wonderful to see these companies committing to Wisconsin. I couldn't be happier that companies are thriving in southeastern Wisconsin and new companies continue to bring good paying jobs and revenue to our area!
