The State Senate Will Miss Dave Craig

Madison, WI – In response to Senator Dave Craig’s retirement, Senator Duey Stroebel (R-Cedarburg) issued the following statement:

“Dave Craig has always been a champion for conservative values and the taxpayers of Wisconsin.  Dave was never one to be influenced by special interests or the politics of the day.  His contributions to defending our liberties, reforming state government and cutting taxes have had a profound impact on our state.”

“Dave’s tireless work to advance oversight of government power and protect the rights of speech and conscience will continue paying dividends for years.  His focus on improving operations at the Department of Transportation has been of particular note and we will miss his voice in these discussions.”

“I have enjoyed the opportunity to work closely with Dave over the years and wish him the best in his retirement from public service.  I know he will remain a fixture in conservative thought and advocacy as a private citizen.”
