Meet Senator Duey Stroebel
Duey built his real estate business from the ground up, creating good-paying jobs and giving back to his community to make Wisconsin stronger.
Duey began working by saving and investing in property when he was just a student at Cedarburg High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning Bachelor's and Master’s degrees before starting a real estate management and development business.
Duey’s personal life and public service is deeply rooted in his faith and commitment to his community. Together, Duey and his wife, Laura, have eight children and are active members of First Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Cedarburg. Duey served on the Town of Cedarburg's Parks Commission and Planning Commission for several years. Duey first served in elected public office as a member of the Cedarburg School Board, before joining the State Assembly in 2011. He has represented the 20th Senate District since April of 2015.
He has dedicated countless hours of time and resources to help local kids be the best they can be. A sports fan and high school athlete, Duey has volunteered his time as a youth basketball, football, and baseball coach. He enjoyed 4H as a youth and in turn has served as a local 4H Project Leader.
Additionally, Duey is a past President and current member of the Greater Cedarburg Foundation, a member of the Concordia University President’s Council, and is a former member of the Board of Directors of both Ozaukee Bank and Cornerstone Community Bank. He has been a member of the Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce and Ozaukee Board of Realtors since 1987. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau, ABATE of Wisconsin, the West Bend Chamber of Commerce, and the Saukville Chamber of Commerce.
Duey is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling, and, if he has spare time, working on vintage cars. Duey lives with his family in the Town of Cedarburg.
