Sen. Howard Marklein Assigned to Senate Committees
Marklein’s committee assignments include a second term on the Joint Finance Committee

MADISON— Senator Howard Marklein (R-Spring Green) received his committee assignments for the 2017-2018 Legislative Session which begins on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

Marklein will be serving a second term as a member of the legislature’s budget-writing committee, the Joint Committee on Finance. 

Marklein will also be serving a second term as the Chair of the Senate Committee on Revenue, Financial Institutions & Rural Issues and the Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Transportation & Veterans Affairs.

Marklein was also appointed to a new committee, the Senate Committee on Workforce Development, Military Affairs & Senior Issues.  In addition, Marklein will serve as a member of the Joint Legislative Council.
