Workers are the backbone of our state. All work should be treated with dignity, and all workers should be compensated fairly. Raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour will ensure our workers earn a fair and livable wage. Senate Bill 452 requires the state to increase the minimum wage to $10.15 upon enactment and $15.00 within one year, It also requires that the wage adjust to inflation over time and ends the special tipped minimum wage.
In Wisconsin, we believe that an honest day's work deserves an honest day's pay. We need fair, livable wages that will provide meaningful support for ordinary Wisconsinites.
