When extreme weather strikes, it’s important to be aware of how to stay safe and the help that is available to you. My office has compiled a list of resources to assist during extreme temperatures and weather events. Please know that you can always contact my Senate office if you need additional help or have questions.
ReadyWisconsin is a great resource to reference when preparing for or responding to disasters and severe weather.
211Wisconsin helps connect Wisconsinites to community resources to assist a wide variety of needs. 211 also helps gather information about storm damage to help determine if Wisconsin is eligible for federal assistance, and you can report damage on their website. If you need help, you can search for services on the 211Wisconsin website, dial 211 on your phone, or text your ZIP code to 898211.
511 Wisconsin provides timely information about road conditions when there is snow, flooding, closures, or other incidents to be aware of in order to travel safely. Utilize 511's map by using the legend on the right side of the page to select the layers you wish to apply for your route.
