Safer at Home  

This week Governor Evers released details regarding his “Safer at Home” emergency order, which began at 8:00 A.M. today and remains in place until 8:00 A.M. on Friday, April 24^th, 2020.

The order states that all non-essential businesses and operations must cease. If you believe your business does essential work, but is not included in the order, I encourage you to contact the WEDC and file an appeal through their website.

My office has been receiving a lot of calls regarding what does or does not constitute essential business operations, while I am eager to help my constituents and our communities through this difficult time it is important to note that neither I nor my staff can dispense legal advice.

I understand this is a difficult time for our state, and the world, but we must continue to care for each other, which right now means practicing social distancing.
