Today marks the opening of the Jefferson County Fair, which will run until Sunday.
There is something for everyone - live music, eating competitions, bingo, pig and duck races and more. I wish all the entrants in the fair competitions the best of luck!

The DeForest Police Department wants to keep you safe by allowing people to use their parking lot when making purchases. The lot is equipped with surveillance cameras. Residents can use the lot to meet with strangers when purchasing items off sites like Craig's List or Marketplace.
The Police Department is located at: 110 S Stevenson Street in DeForest.
