Police Officers under Siege Today – You Tomorrow

Peaceful Protests Don’t Leave Hundreds of Our Heroes Injured and at least One Dead!

On May 25, 2020, a terrible tragedy and crime occurred to George Floyd at the hands of four Minneapolis police officers.  Appropriately, all four were immediately fired and now face serious consequences in the criminal justice system.  One of these bad police officers has been charged with 2nd degree murder and the other three for their inaction to intervene on behalf of George Floyd now face charges of accessory to murder.

Since that tragic day, this country has witnessed constitutionally protected protests across the country with most participants conducting themselves in a lawful manner.  However, as each hour has passed since that terrible day in Minnesota, we have witnessed growing violence including rioting, looting and organized mayhem with the aim to terrorize entire communities.

Here in Wisconsin, we witnessed a press conference in Madison by three radical organizations that have taken a lead in organizing the protests in that city, in which they openly condoned the rioting and looting.  Some of the leaders even went a step further and promoted the anarchy as a way to achieve “liberation” and force government to cede to a list of extremist demands.

Those demands included defunding the police, releasing criminals from our jails and prisons, prohibiting police officers in our schools and the end to capitalism.  These radical groups in Wisconsin and many others around the country are not using the tragic death of Mr. Floyd to simply achieve changes in how we police, instead and more ominously, they have hijacked this situation to forcefully transform America.

The evidence of their organized violent intentions has been visible nightly on the streets in every corner of this great country.  In each of these communities, a thin line of men and women of law enforcement and the National Guard have struggled to keep the rioters, the looters and the anarchists from your doorsteps.

For their efforts hundreds have been injured, some have been shot, a few are currently in critical condition and a federal security officer has been killed.  Peaceful protests don’t lead to this kind of human suffering amongst our heroes.

I provide a link to a story by Louis Casiano of Fox News that summarizes some of the most outrageous acts of organized violence we have seen to date (but by no means a complete list).

America and Wisconsin have been under siege now for a week.  If the thin line of our heroes collapses, the thugs and anarchists in the streets will be upon your doorstep soon thereafter.

I ask that you pray for and stand with the heroes of law enforcement and the National Guard during this time of great national crisis.
