(MADISON) – Wisconsin State Senator Patty Schachtner (D – Somerset) will be hosting a pair of public town hall events on Thursday, August 2, 2018 to provide information and collect feedback from Wisconsin residents regarding Foxconn - the largest state taxpayer giveaway to a foreign corporation in U.S. history.  In less than a year, the public cost of this project has increased from an original estimate of $3 billion to $4.5 billion. These town hall events will offer local residents an opportunity to meet with their state senators, learn more about taxpayer liabilities, and comment on recently identified environmental risks.
