Sen. Taylor Announces Senate District 4 National Night Out

(MADISON) – National Night Out is an effort to raise awareness and promote safety through involvement in police-community partnerships, improved neighborhood unity and crime prevention. Today, Senator Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee) announced a partnership with Supervisor Theo Lipscomb, State Rep. David Bowen, Supervisor Willie Johnson, State Rep. Jason Fields, Alderman Ashanti Hamilton, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Our Next Generation, Friends of Lincoln Park, the Inner City Sportsmen Club, and Milwaukee County Parks to host one of approximately 28,000 National Night Out events throughout the nation.

Senate District 4’s National Night Out event will include live music, free food, a kid’s corner, fun activities, giveaways, and community resource information tables. The event will take place at Lincoln Park’s Blatz Pavilion on 980d765e-bfdb-4b14-a816-37c7a77ff985 W Hampton Ave on Tuesday, August 1st from 4-9 pm.
