Mobile black history museum to make 3-day tour of Wisconsin this weekend

MILWAUKEE – Today, Senator Lena C. Taylor announced an extensive partnership that will bring American Legacy's "Know Your History" Mobile Truck Exhibit on a three day three stop tour throughout Wisconsin. The truck converts to a traveling museum filled with photos, stories, and interactive learning stations that celebrate the African- American experience. The 18-wheel trailer transforms into a nearly 750 square foot black history museum focusing on the milestones and newsmakers of the 19th and 20th centuries. The truck contains artifacts, memorabilia, photographs, and art that thematically mirrors American Legacy magazine.
