Sen. Taylor announces Senate District 4 National Night Out

(MADISON) – Today, Senator Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee) announced a joint effort with elected officials from the 4th Senate District, to include Rep. David Bowen, Milwaukee County Board Chairman Theo Lipscomb, Common Council President Ashanti Hamilton, and a number of community organizations to host one of thousands of National Night Out events throughout the nation.  National Night Out is an effort to promote police-community partnerships, improve neighborhood unity, address crime prevention, and promote public safety.

Senate District 4’s National Night Out event will include live music, food, a kid’s corner, fun activities, free swimming, giveaways, and community vendors and resource information.  The event will take place at Lincoln Park’s Blatz Pavilion on 1301 W Hampton Ave on Tuesday, August 7th from 4:00pm - 9:00 pm.   Anyone interested in participating as a vendor, should contact Sen.
