Tim Carpenter is a Friend of Public Health

 Madison – Today State Senator Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) made the following statement after being named a Friend of Public Health by the Wisconsin Public Health Association and the Wisconsin Association of Local Health Departments and Boards:

 “I’m very proud to be included in this group of Legislators. Making sure that the people of Wisconsin have access to affordable, quality healthcare continues to be one of my top priorities.”

 “In this past budget we were able to secure $500,000 to be distributed across the state to help reduce the spread of communicable diseases. By investing in staff development and strengthening the communication between healthcare providers, we can make a real difference in preventing diseases and improving outcomes all over Wisconsin.”
