“It’s a start. But all policy should be removed.”
Madison – Today State Senator Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) responded to reports that Senate Republicans want to remove the Buck’s arena out of the biennial state budget.
“This is a step in the right direction, but only a first step. All non-fiscal policy items should be removed from the budget and be subject to the normal legislative process. This means public notice, public committee hearings, and public input, and an honest ability to amend it,” said Carpenter.
