The American Red Cross provides a great opportunity to send Holiday Cards to military service members and veterans.
Madison – Today State Senator Tim Carpenter (D-Milwaukee) encouraged folks to participate in the American Red Cross’s Holiday Mail for Heroes program. The program allows people to send their heartfelt thanks during the holiday season to those give their service to our country.
“At a Town Hall that I held in the District this past Saturday, there was great excitement when I mentioned this opportunity to send a card to a member of the armed services. We owe so much to our veterans and to active military service members who keep us safe from harm and secure our freedoms. A holiday away from home and family can be tough, and I hope this small token of appreciation and good cheer will brighten someone’s day,” said Carpenter.
Senator Carpenter thanked the American Red Cross for their efforts.
