As you may have heard,

the Wisconsin DOT is seeking federal approval for a project to rebuild the East-West corridor of I-94 from 16th St. to 70th St. in Milwaukee County. I have heard from many people in the district who have concerns about this project and the way that it is being handled by the Department.

I wanted to let you know that tomorrow, March 16th at 6pm, the DOT will be holding a Public Involvement Meeting virtually, that anyone may follow and participate in so that their concerns or questions may be addressed. See below for information about the public involvement meeting:

Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 6-8pm

To be part of the meeting record, comments should be submitted by March 30, 2021.

I know that the way that this proposal is being handled is of critical importance to the people of the 3rd Senate District, and I have been making every effort to attend all the public meetings that I can find regarding this issue to stay informed of the needs and desires of the people of our community.

I and all of my staff will be tuning in for this Public Involvement Meeting. I hope to hear from many of you there!
