The Wisconsin Legislative Council Staff is a nonpartisan legislative service agency of the Wisconsin Legislature. The staff is headed by a Director, who reports to the Joint Legislative Council and the Joint Committee on Legislative Organization.  The Legislative Council employs attorneys and analysts who provide legal and research services to legislative committees, legislators, and legislative staff, as well as administrative staff who support them.
