Survey Responses
THANK YOU for taking the time to fill out the survey you received from me. The response has been wonderful and I appreciate being able to review all the comments and thoughtful ideas. If you have not yet returned yours, you could also fill it out on line through my newsletter link.

The overwhelming requests for my supply of Blue Books, laminated wall maps and folded highway maps has now exhausted what I had available. We have processed all requests we could fill and if yours was received before they were gone, you should be receiving it soon.

Representative Hesselbein introduces Compassionate Choices Bill with Senator Risser and Representative Pope

Wisconsin’s Compassionate Choices allows an individual who is suffering from a terminal illness to choose to medically end their life in a dignified manner at a time of their choosing.

The law would require that the individual is a resident of Wisconsin, is of sound mind, is not incapacitated, is at least 18 years of age, and has received approval from an attending physician before medication can be administered.

According to a recent Gallup poll, public opinion overwhelmingly (70%) favors allowing a patient to end their life painlessly and with dignity.
