Final E-Update of the 2013-14 Session

In an election year in the state of Wisconsin, Section 11.33 of the Wisconsin Statutes states that Senators who become a candidate for national, state, or local office may not send out more than 50 pieces of substantially identical literature after April 15th. Therefore, this will be the final legislative e-update from my office until after the general election in November.

Thank you to those that have taken the time to respond to my legislative survey. The responses have been fantastic and its great to hear from you. For those that have requested Blue Books or highway maps, they do fall under the "50 piece rule" and starting tomorrow we'll forward the request to the Senate Chief Clerk's office, who will be able to mail them out.

You're still welcome and encouraged to contact my office with any questions, comments, or concerns you have regarding state government. It is a pleasure serving the 33rd Senate District and I look forward to reconnecting with you in November.
