Thank you for contacting me, regarding limiting the use of microbeads in personal care products (AB 15/ SB 15). I appreciate your taking the time to share your thoughts with me, and I value your opinion on this important issue.

Preserving Wisconsin’s water supply is indeed crucial to the health of our ecosystem and our people, and removing pollutants from our lakes can only prove beneficial for our communities. I am in support of legislation to limit the use of microbeads, and am in favor of a similar, but stronger version of this bill being introduced by Senator Wirch and Representative Ohnstad . I will keep your thoughts in mind as this proposal is discussed.
