Connor Grayson Earns Eagle Scout Rank Last weekend, I was invited to attend the Court of Honor Ceremony in Silver Lake where Connor Grayson was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest attainable honor through the Boy Scouts of America. Connor earned 33 merit badges on his way to Eagle and held a number of leadership positions within his Boy Scout Troop, including Patrol Leader and Venture Patrol Leader. For his community project, he designed and built a fire pit and benches that will be used for outdoor worship at the First Christian Church in Kenosha. I'm proud to represent a district that produces such motivated and high-achieving young people eager to give back to their community. Again, congratulations, Connor!

NCSL is an organization that provides a forum to facilitate exchange of ideas among legislators of different states. The Budgets and Revenue Committee is responsible for protecting states' interests in federal decisions regarding fiscal matters. I'm excited to serve on this committee with my colleagues from other states and look forward to its first meeting I will attend this December.
