WI/MN Tax Reciprocity Update

    For many 30th District constituents the most important issue during this legislative session is tax reciprocity with Minnesota. The Wisconsin Department of Revenue recently released information on a possible tax credit for our border workers. Unfortunately, a new agreement will not be reached until Wisconsin is able to pay back $60 million owed under the previous agreement; however, it is my hope that a tax credit will provide some relief in the interim.

     The update from the DOR is listed below and further information may be found on their website under WI and MN Reciprocity. I will keep you informed on reciprocity developments as we move through the budget process.
