Statement on Suicide Task Force Prevention Bills
Today, Rep. Scott Allen released the following statement on several bills drafted by the Speaker’s Task Force on Suicide Prevention:
One step closer to reasonable higher education progression
Last month, the Wisconsin State Assembly passed 2019 AB 189/SB 165, dealing with higher education credit transfers. In it’s floor session yesterday, the Wisconsin State Senate passed the bill, moving the bill forward to its final step in the legislative process.
Rep. Allen circulates bill requiring agencies to report fees.
There are more than 16,100 references to fees on the books, in both state statute and administrative code. This legislation would require agencies to submit reports, and maintain accuracy and accountability.
