2020 Spring Survey

It has been an honor serving as your State Representative for the 94th Assembly District. For nearly a decade, I’ve been bringing your voice to the State Capitol and working hard to keep our community a great place to live, work, and play. Far too often, when people hear the word politics they turn their backs and run for the bluffs. Surprisingly, politics wasn’t always a synonym for divide, but a synonym for compromise and cooperation. I may be judged by my daughters for being too old-school when I pop in my 8-track tapes, but they tend to be on my side as I work to bring back the old-school definition of politics. This session, I’m proud to have worked on bipartisan proposals both majority and minority members saw eye to eye on. From being Vice-chair of the Speaker’s Task Force on Suicide Prevention to a member of The Speaker’s Task Force on Adoption, I brought back compromise and cooperation and got a number of bills passed and signed into law. Meeting with you is what inspires my legislation and influences my votes in the Assembly. Thank you to all who have reached out to invite me to celebrations, meetings, or tours. It truly continues to be an honor to represent such an involved community, and I thank you again for the opportunity.
