Rep. Meyers Sworn into Fourth Term in State Legislature

Today, State Representative Beth Meyers (D-Bayfield) was virtually sworn in to the 2021-22 session of the Wisconsin State Assembly by Governor Tony Evers for her fourth term. Following the swearing in, Rep. Meyers issued the following statement:

“I am humbled to once again serve the people of the 74th Assembly District. Today’s ceremony was yet another reminder how things have changed, how we can’t come together in the ways we’re used to. However, even when swearing in virtually, I am inspired to get to work for the people of my district.

“While we have many challenges facing us in the coming session, we also have so much to look forward to. If we can prioritize the health and safety of our communities, we can come back from the worst of 2020 and build a better Wisconsin for all of us. As an elected leader, I plan to put the priorities of my constituents front and center, and I look forward to working with my colleagues in the legislature and Governor Tony Evers towards a brighter future.”
