It’s been quite a spring and I know we’re all looking forward to a beautiful Wisconsin summer. I wanted to share a few updates from the Capitol.

REGIONAL REOPENING

On Thursday Representative Pat Snyder and I hosted an event to continue our efforts to re-open Wisconsin following the impact of COVID-19.

As I said to WAOW, “It’s not just a healthcare story here in central Wisconsin; It’s a personal story and a financial story for so many families...If you see what’s going on in Green Bay and Milwaukee, it’s a total different story than what’s going on here in Wausau, Rhinelander, Merrill, Mosinee, and Wisconsin Rapids. A regional approach is something that makes a lot of sense.”

DON’T FORGET -- COMPLETE THE 2020 CENSUS ONLINE

With everything going on with COVID-19, it can be easy to forget. But it’s easy to do and it’s important. Below is the link to complete the census online. Once at this page, click on “Start Questionnaire” to begin. You then enter the 12 digit census ID that was mailed to you in late March or early April (each household should have received at least 2 mailings with a unique census ID number on it).

I’m proud to have the opportunity to represent our community. We’re fortunate to live in such an exciting place. I always appreciate hearing your thoughts on how we can continue moving forward. If you have any questions you can always reach out to my office or contact me on Facebook or Twitter.
