Congratulations to Colby Football
My congratulations to the Colby Hornets on their State Championship Title, defeating St. Mary's Springs 22 - 7. I commend Head Coach Jim Hagen and the team on an exemplary season resulting in a Championship Title, Colby’s first since the 2011 Championship. It is great to see the State Football Championship return to Colby.
Best Wishes to Hunters
This is a special time of year as many people head out to the woods to participate in the annual deer gun hunting season. Please be safe and exercise good judgement while hunting. Best wishes for success!
State Capitol Christmas Tree
Currently, the 2021 Wisconsin State Capitol Christmas Tree is inside the Rotunda. This year's Tree is a 32-foot Balsam Fir from the Menominee Tribal Enterprises Forestry Center in Keshena, WI. On Friday, December 3rd, the Tree will be lit at a ceremony starting at noon. This tradition started in 1916, so if you are in the area, stop by and witness history.
I am wishing everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. As I reflect on the past year, I have seen many blessings that I am thankful for, including the opportunity to serve the constituents of the 69th Assembly District as a State Legislator. I hope everyone enjoys fellowship with family and friends.
