Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and raised in Orange, Virginia, Representative Donna Rozar moved to Marshfield in 1988 with her husband, Ed and their five children. Donna worked as a medical/surgical cardiac nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield for many years before she joined the faculty at the University of Wisconsin/Eau Claire College of Nursing, Marshfield Site.  

Representative Rozar graduated from the Virginia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Lynchburg with a diploma in nursing. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, WI. Her nursing experience includes time spent as an emergency room nurse, a medical-surgical registered nurse, and as a certified adult/adolescent nurse practitioner, where she worked in a family physician's office in Norfolk, VA.

Representative Rozar is an active member of her community and has served on the Wood County Board of Supervisors since 2000 where she has held a variety of leadership positions. She is an active member of North Ridge Church in Marshfield and has participated in numerous missions across the globe. She was first elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2020. Additionally, she is a 1996 graduate of Leadership Marshfield and was named their 2000 Alumni of the Year. She successfully completed the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development, for which she was chosen in August 2023.

Rozar's hobbies include playing competitive Scrabble and traveling. She also loves Southern Gospel music and attending activities in her assembly district. She enjoys spending time with family.
