Rep. Summerfield to Continue Working for Chippewa Valley
Small business owner sworn in for second term as State Representative for the 67th Assembly District
Madison – Rep. Rob Summerfield (R-Bloomer) officially took office for his second term as the State Representative for the 67th Assembly District during a swearing-in ceremony at the State Capitol today.
“I want to thank the citizens of the 67th District for continuing to support me to represent them,” said Rep. Summerfield. “I look forward to working hard on their behalf and keeping rural issues in the spotlight in Madison for another term.”
Rep. Summerfield was recently named Chairman of the newly-formed Assembly Committee on Medicaid Reform & Oversight and Vice-Chairman of the Assembly Committee on International Affairs & Commerce for the 2019-20 session. He will also continue to serve on the Colleges & Universities, Small Business Development, State Affairs, Tourism, and Veterans & Military Affairs committees.
Joining Summerfield during the inaugural ceremony was his wife Kim, their three daughters, and other extended family.
