Rep. Ohnstad Receives WEDA Award
I am honored to be named a 2018 "Champion of Economic Development" award by the Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA). Looking ahead, I will continue to work for continued economic development in the 65th District.

According to WEDA, recipients were chosen based on who best exemplified their mission of promoting economic development and showed a commitment to making Wisconsin a better place to live, work, and do business.

I am disappointed the Governor is using this one time pay-off as an election year gimmick. This is fiscally irresponsible and will not help our state achieve prosperity, rather it is unsustainable and inequitable.

With this money, the State of Wisconsin could have fixed lead pipe laterals and expand rural broadband to areas where it is needed the most.
