Pro-Life Wisconsin Legislator of the Year

This week, I was humbled and proud to receive one of the greatest honors of my legislative career, the Pro-Life Wisconsin Legislator of the Year Award. My wife, Lynn, and several of my friends and family were able to join us at the event. Lynn and I had just seen the "Unplanned" movie a week ago, and it was emotional for all of us. We were glad to hear from speakers and to discuss many aspects of pro-life issues during this great evening. In addition to the many pro-life bills I've sponsored since taking office, I was a driver for the Pro-Life license plate, which generated about $30,000 in its first year for women's health clinics grants in Wisconsin. The Appleton Mother & Unborn Baby Care organization received one of those grants.

Fox Valley Area Occupational Therapy advocates visited with me this week.


It was great meeting with Social Workers during their advocacy day. Thank you for all you do!


I enjoyed my discussion with Nick about water quality issues.


It was a pleasure to talk with student advocates from the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.

Special thanks to our area EMS folks for taking the time to share their concerns with me. We really appreciate your service to our communities!



This week during our floor session, the Assembly had the honor of recognizing Wisconsin's National Guard members for their terrific service to our state and country.

Just go to the information desk in the rotunda, and they can direct you on how to find my office, 318 North. At the bottom of each e-update, you'll see my office contact information.

If your school or group plans to tour the Capitol building, please let me know in advance. I'd love to visit with you for a few minutes and take a group photo.
