A Responsible Investment |
Yesterday, Kimberly-Clark announced that
they will remain in our community and invest up to $200 million
in their Cold Spring facility over the next five years, thanks
to a responsible and timely $28 million tax incentive plan
authorized by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation
(WEDC). Kimberly-Clark's state of the art plant will continue to
produce adult care and feminine care consumer products for
distribution throughout North American long into the future. The
decision to keep the facilty open will ensure the continued
employement of nearly 400 people and the thousands of other
employees around the state that support its supply chain.

Foxconn has completed the purchase of a
$9.25 million location in Green Bay that will house
about 200 employees. Approximately 1,000 of the 13,000
jobs Foxconn has committed to creating in Wisconsin will be

Working for Wisconsin Award |
I'm honored to once again receive the Wisconsin Manufacturers
and Commerce (WMC) "Working for Wisconsin Award," for my record
in the 2017-18 legislative session.
Legislators earn the award in recognition for continued efforts
to make Wisconsin a destination for new and expanding
businesses. WMC is the state chamber of commerce and
state manufacturers’ association, representing over 3,800 member
companies, spanning all sectors of the economy.

Welcome!
I live in Greenville, but have an
office at the State Capitol in Madison. If you are in
downtown Madison, please feel free to stop by and say
hello! Just go to the information desk in the rotunda,
and they can direct you on how to find my office, 318
North. At the bottom of each e-update, you'll see my
office contact information.
If your school or group plans to tour the Capitol
building, please let me know in advance. I'd
love to visit with you for a few minutes and take a
group photo.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
