Every two years, the legislature goes through the biennial
budget process. An important part of this is to gather feedback
from our constituents on the Governor's proposal so the
legislature knows your views on the budget. As I have done in
the past, I have scheduled budget listening sessions and also
created a budget survey that will go out in the mail in the next
few weeks.
Please watch your mailbox for the budget survey and mark your
calendar to attend one of the budget listening sessions. We will
also put up an online survey in a few weeks, if you'd prefer to
respond electronically. Please note: the purpose of these budget
listening sessions is to gather feedback on the budget proposal.
If you have thoughts and concerns relating to other issues, I
would encourage to contact my office outside of these sessions.
I welcome your comments at any point, through any medium, so if
you cannot make it to a listening session, just email or call my
office.
On Saturday, April 22, I will hold listening
sessions for the 56th Assembly District.
