Welcome to my second May e-update!
Weeks of May 16th and May 23rd
Happy to join Grand Chute Police Department's Blood Drive & Coffee with a cop!

Though budget season is heating up, there have been many important bills still moving through the assembly! Here is a brief legislative update on what we have been working on in the capitol:

  1. Regulatory Licensing Reform Committee heard bills regarding license fee waivers for veteran's spouses and a bi-partisan bill I was proud to co-author regarding genetic councilors.
  2. Colleges and Universities Committee heard a de-regulatory bill for our Technical Colleges and a bill to ensure that graduates at UW institutions are able to have family there to watch the ceremony.
  3. I also introduced bills to ensure coverage for certain breast cancer screenings and improving healthcare access across the state. As these make their way through the assembly, I'll keep everyone updated!

I also had the privilege of joining meetings with Appleton Area School District, Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley, our local Boy Scout Troops, and got an exciting tour out at Appleton International Airport!
